Job Description
TURN Community Services is currently hiring for a parttime Day Program Direct Support Professional DSP to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Salt Lake City UT area. This human services position as a caregiver earns a competitive wage of $16.50/hour.

DAYTODAY
As a caregiver in human services you support people with developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. Your support is needed in many areas of daily living including selfcare hygiene motor skills arts and crafts vocational skills work habits and community inclusion. Additionally you assist with behavior management and recreational activities.
Using effective teaching and mentoring techniques you provide support for our clients with their daytoday schedules. You are always careful to model appropriate social skills and behaviors. Conscientiously you keep accurate and uptodate documentation as well as promptly report any concerns about health or safety. You find it very rewarding to help these wonderful individuals which is why youre perfect for this caregiver position with our human services organization!

TURN Community Services was founded in 1973 by a group of parents who wanted better services for their adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities. With locations from Brigham City to St. George we offer a full range of services including day programs residential living art center programs summer camp and supported employment opportunities.
