The Procurement Administrator Job Duties Include:
Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in public administration social work human development public health behavioral science law finance human resources or other program related field AND four years of experience in a field related to the assigned program area including supervisory experience; OR a Masters degree in any of the above mentioned fields and two years commensurate experience. Equivalent experience or coursework/training may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearforyear basis.
Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Public Administration Business Administration or relevant field of study and progressive supervisory management and leadership experience. 10 years of experience in local state federal major university system or private sector procurement field.
Certifications including CPPB preferred.
Other: Position is located onsite at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln.

Successful candidates will have knowledge of principles and practices of competitive and direct procurements; be a proven leader with strong relationship building and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels; strong independent judgment and decisionmaking skills; high level of organizational skills initiative and attention to detail; ability to advise on procurement best practices and resolve concerns effectively; ability to consistently interpret and apply policy procedures and guidelines; ability to perform statistical and costbenefit analysis; and ability to coach develop and motivate team and align organizational design as needs change.
