Salary: Up to 25.00 per hour (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
The Highfield Hospital has recently been awarded OUTSTANDING by the CQC.
We have an opportunity for an Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapy department.
This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis. You will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. This post is for a Senior Inpatient Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to work one weekend a month on our weekend rota. An enhancement is paid for weekends.
Duties of this role include:
- Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery function and independence.
- Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists therapy assistants and students offering guidance and informal supervision.
- Maintain accurate timely and professional clinical records in line with HCPC CSP and local policy.
- Adhere to all governance procedures including health and safety infection prevention and safeguarding.
- Demonstrate commitment to ongoing CPD and reflective practice to support your development as a senior clinician.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- HCPCregistered Physiotherapist.
- Solid postregistration experience across a range of clinical areas.
- Strong clinical reasoning and decisionmaking skills.
- Excellent communication organisational and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to team working and service improvement.
