Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are hiring a Senior Radiographer into our Hospital in Galway Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all necessary radiographic imaging tests in the diagnostic imaging department including general radiography theater interventional/fluoroscopy radiology and MRI CT and cardiac catheterization labs.
  • Uphold the highest standards of patient care by performing clinical imaging when necessary adhering to best practices and taking professional responsibility for every facet of your work.
  • Continue to provide the Diagnostic Imaging Department with an efficient high-quality radiography service.
  • Participate in the departments radiography rota and exhibit flexibility in response to the different shift patterns and service requirements.
  • As needed take part in an on-call schedule.
  • Intravenous cannulation is performed.
  • Keep all records including log books quality assurance records staff training records and patient information in compliance with hospital policy including data protection.


Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiographer or its Equivalent A Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Radiography or a College of Radiographers Diploma or its equivalent
  • It is preferred to have a postgraduate degree.
  • CORU enrollment
  • Adaptable work schedule
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Three years or more after graduation as a senior radiographer
