Your Role & Responsibilities

• Works with ethics honesty values and integrity. Provides a position of professionalism to others.

• Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures make observations interpret
  findings.

• Organize and store all chemical substances fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions.

• Tracks and reports all materials used.

• Maintains a clean work space by properly disposing of trash/waste.

• Communicates and enforces laboratory safety rules to internal and external researchers working in the lab.

• Ensures all users of the lab are wearing the appropriate PPE.

• Completes all safety and equipment related trainings required on a monthly basis.

• Responsible for answering company issued cell phone during on call hours in accordance with company
  and safety policies.

• Any other duty responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.

Your Profile

Education and Experience:

• B.S. in a chemistry or science related field desired.

• Proven experience as a Lab Technician or relevant position.

• Experience in operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment and potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids biohazards etc..

• In depth knowledge of QHSE Systems preventative measures and laboratory best practices.

• Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers customers clients and management.

• Mathematical Skills: Ability to use advanced mathematical calculation for job related tasks.

• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situation.
