Are you ready to join the Uncarrier movementIf so our team is searching for a Software Engineer to work with a team of other software engineers network and systems engineers to craft implement and deploy software which meet customers requirements scales easily removes the limitations of traditional networking solutions and supports deployment in highly available environments. Our team participates and leads in architecture and design of various software components using technologies such as virtualization micro services SDN NFV and Big Data platforms and technologies. We work on technical assignments that are semi routine or greenfield in nature but recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice! Our SWEs normally follow established procedures on routine work and require instructions only on new assignments.

Job Responsibilities:
Technical Engineering Services
- Supports engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations. Expected to supervise associate engineers on occasion.
- Understands system protocols system operations and data flows. Is aware of the benefits of current technologies. Expected to independently develop a complete software stack. Possesses knowledge of the building blocks interactions dependencies and tools required to complete software and automation tasks. Engages in independent study of current technologies.
- AIPowered Solution Development
- Design and integrate AI/ML models into intelligent applications using frameworks like TensorFlow PyTorch Scikitlearn or Azure ML.
- CloudNative Architecture & Services
- Build deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms (Azure AWS or GCP) using services like Azure Functions AWS Lambda and serverless components.
- Kubernetes & Containerization
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes clusters for scalability high availability and fault tolerance.
- Data Engineering & Integration
- Design and develop robust data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark Azure Data Factory or Databricks. Work with structured and unstructured data across data lakes warehouses and relational databases.
- Microservices & API Development
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using modern backend frameworks ensuring integration with AI models and data sources.
Technical Leadership
- Collaborates with technical teams and uses system expertise to deliver technical solutions.
- Continuously learns new technologies.
Technical Writing
- Writes basic documentation on how technology works. Contributes clear documentation for new code and systems used.
- Documenting systems designs presentations and business requirements for consumption at the engineer level.
Technology Strategy
- Contributes to emerging technologies to deliver business goals.
- Demonstrates an understanding of current technologies that support business goals. Possesses knowledge of system protocols system operations and data flows. Is aware of the benefits offered by modern technologies. Expected to independently develop a complete software stack. Understands the building blocks interactions dependencies and tools required to complete software and automation tasks. Independent study of current technologies is expected. Collaborates with system engineers to define system requirements and/or requirements for automation.

Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (Required)
- 24 years of technical engineering experience (Required)
- Experience in building deploying and maintaining applications on cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS utilizing services like Azure Functions AWS Lambda and other serverless components.
- Experience in designing and integrating AI/ML models into intelligent applications using frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch Scikitlearn or Azure ML.
- Skilled in designing and developing robust data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark Azure Data Factory or Databricks.
- 2 years of experience with programming languages such as Python/R Java/Scala and/or Go (Preferred)
- 2 years of experience delivering highquality ML models in production environments (Preferred)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At TMobile employees in regular nontemporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a yearend bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
