Job Description
Mandatory Skills

Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Design develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot)
-
Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices for web and mobile applications
-
Containerize applications within RKE2/AWS as containerd/docker applications and manage deployments in cloud environments
-
Integrate and optimize services on AWS (e.g. EC2 Lambda S3 RDS) including stateless workloads
-
Collaborate with frontend developers DevOps engineers and product managers
-
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate testing and deployment workflows
-
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues
-
Write clean maintainable and well-documented code
