Job Description

Job Summary Cloud Security Engineer (GCP)

- Develop test and deploy GCP security controls using 3rd party SaaS solutions.
- Assess and implement cloud security requirements into detective cloud controls.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to build and test cloud security services.
- Generate compliance reports focused on infrastructure drift management.
- Work with resource owners to remediate configuration drift in cloud environments.
- Lead and coordinate continuous improvement of security tools systems and processes.
- Research and implement new technologies to advance cloud security capabilities.
- Integrate configure document and deploy compliant cloud infrastructure and services.
- Troubleshoot analyze and resolve issues with managed security solutions.
- Partner with Risk Management Security Architecture and Incident Response teams to ensure proper cloud controls.
- Work within a global team to deliver innovative robust cloud-centric security solutions.
- Utilize expertise in GCP infrastructure security controls DevOps IaC (Terraform) and scripting (Python PowerShell Bash).
- Document technical architectures and communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Apply knowledge of IT service management secure SDLC and cloud security best practices.
- (Preferred) Experience with CSPM SaaS solutions regulatory frameworks financial industry and security certifications.
