Job Description
Contract Type: FullTime
Location: Belgrade Serbia
Join our team as an IT Network Engineer where youll play a crucial role in designing implementing and managing complex network infrastructures ensuring optimal performance and security.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement network infrastructure to provide scalable and robust connectivity in support of business strategies.
- Oversee the operational health of network systems by monitoring activity configuring hardware and resolving performance issues to ensure consistent uptime and efficiency.
- Install and support wireless networking solutions to deliver stable and highperforming wireless access.
- Apply industrystandard security protocols across all network environments.
- Utilize indepth knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms to configure and manage network services monitor infrastructure performance and apply security measures.
- Diagnose and resolve network incidents promptly to reduce downtime and maintain smooth operations.
- Enforce comprehensive network security practices including the use of firewalls VPNs user access controls and monitoring tools.
- Maintain full compliance with company policies and external regulatory requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in English (C1 or higher) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- At least 5 years of experience in network administration or engineering with handson work in managing highperformance enterprise network and wireless infrastructure.
- Strong command of configuring and maintaining network and wireless systems with an emphasis on scalability reliability and security.
- Competency in both Linux and Windows environments particularly in managing system configurations and network services.
- Solid understanding of key networking technologies and protocols including TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN BGP and OSPF.
- Practical experience with network diagnostics and monitoring tools as well as knowledge of automation and scripting is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloudbased networking solutions (e.g. AWS Azure) is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
