Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP GTS solutions to streamline trade compliance processes.
- Conduct analysis of trade compliance requirements and ensure adherence to regulations.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to enhance customs compliance.
- Monitor changes in trade regulations and update internal systems accordingly.
- Manage trade preference programs and ensure proper documentation practices.
- Provide training and support for users in leveraging SAP GTS functionalities.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for compliance workflows.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in trade operations.
- Coordinate with external customs agencies and managing audits.
- Implement risk assessment strategies for international shipments.
- Facilitate the integration of GTS solutions with ERP systems.
- Monitor performance metrics and generate reports for management.
- Engage in crossfunctional projects that enhance overall trade efficiency.
- Support incident management processes related to GTS functionalities.
- Act as a liaison between IT and business units to address GTS issues.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with SAP GTS.
- Strong understanding of international trade compliance and customs regulations.
- Proficiency in SAP modules related to logistics and supply chain.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Proven problemsolving skills in trade compliance contexts.
- Experience in training users on SAP GTS processes.
- Knowledge of import/export processes and documentation.
- Familiarity with tariff classification and duty optimization.
- Experience in conducting trade compliance audits.
- Understanding of risk management principles in trade.
- Willingness to stay updated on trade regulations and industry trends.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines.
