JCC Greater Boston in Newton MA is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Certified Toddler Teacher to join our team. This position provides you with an opportunity to work with students of all ages and backgrounds with a focus on providing a positive nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth. The ideal candidate will be an experienced dedicated educator with a passion for helping students achieve their full potential. As a Certified Toddler Teacher at JCC Greater Boston you will have the chance to inspire and engage students while developing educational programs that promote social emotional and academic growth.

This posting is for a fulltime salaried Certified Toddler Teacher. The starting salary for this position is $47940$53040. The salary offered will ultimately be determined by the scope of the position the candidates relevant experience and internal equity. JCC Greater Boston also has openings for parttime Toddler Teachers with multiple shift options. Requirements
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can play learn and take risks
  • Maintain full responsibility for the smooth running of the classroom environment
  • In partnership with Early Learning Center Directors and peers cocreate a collaborative dynamic positive and innovative classroom culture.
  • Work in partnership with JCC leadership and other departments to support JCC Greater Boston organizational goals and model JCC values
  • Partner and communicate with families to ensure the best care and education for the children
  • Design and implement curriculum
  • Complete observation and document assessments regarding childrens progress
  • Adhere to all EEC regulations as well as NAEYC guidelines

Qualifications

  • EEC certification required
  • A love of children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
  • Strong organizational skills including teamwork relationshipbuilding skills the ability to multitask the ability to manage situations effectively and diplomatically
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability and commitment to build strong relationships with families coworkers ELC leadership and JCCGB colleagues
  • Commitment to create and foster a dynamic environment where play and learning are a top priority
  • Computer literate
