Clallam Bay Corrections Center (CBCC)
NonPermanent Position
The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of NonPermanentOffice Assistant 3 at Clallam Bay Corrections Center.
Clallam Bay Corrections Center is a 900 bed male facility located on the point of the Olympic Peninsula. It is 50 miles west of Port Angeles and looks out over the Strait of Juan de Fuca at Vancouver Island. This facility houses medium and close custody Incarcerated Individuals. CBCC also operates a Restricted Housing Unit.
Whether the work is inside a prison in community corrections or in an administrative office the Washington State Department of Corrections professional staff experience a high degree of personal satisfaction knowing they are creating environments in which all Incarcerated Individuals can learn to make choices that contribute to a safer society.
Provide support to Unit operations and staff to include but not limited to:
Maintain unit files to include filing and scanning to OnBase.
Prepare confidential reports letters memos and proofread documents.
Retrieve and process distribution mail for units recognize due date of sensitive documents prioritize and distribute as appropriate.
Keep track of monthly report data by gathering documents completing distribution and filing.
Perform varied receptionist duties to include answering and routing phone calls and taking messages.
Provide data entry support by entering chronological entries into OMNI database.
Prepare spreadsheets using computer program.
Perform varied clerical tasks to include scanning filing archiving copying and shredding.
Post announcements for staff and Incarcerated Individuals.
Attend and take minutes at Tier Rep Meetings.
Assist with Public Disclosures as assigned or directed.
Process Unit Incarcerated Individuals Pay monthly.
Provide assistance or participation in Incarcerated Individual programs audits special projects assignments or as needed.
