Were looking for an experiencedFP&A Systems and M&A Integration Specialist to support our Finance and Accounting teams on a consulting basis for 12 months.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
This role will be pivotal in overseeing the consolidation of financials in Planful developing impactful Looker dashboards for financial reporting and ensuring seamless postM&A finance systems integration. You will work with leadership and crossfunctional teams to streamline processes and enable datadriven decisionmaking across the organization.. In this role you will
- Lead the implementation optimization and ongoing management of Planful focusing on financial consolidation reporting and modeling. Ensure that financial data is accurately captured and flows smoothly within the system.
- Build and deploy Looker dashboards that transform complex financial data into easytounderstand visual reports for leadership and crossfunctional teams. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure dashboards meet business needs and are scalable for future reporting.
- Manage the integration of finance systems postmerger including the alignment and consolidation of financial data within Planful and Looker. Analyze the cost center structure of the newly merged entities and identify synergies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Lead the automation of key finance processes such as payroll monthend closing and reporting. Apply process improvement methodologies to streamline operations enhance accuracy and reduce manual effort.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership train finance teams on new tools and processes and manage change to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and workflows.
- Work closely with IT data teams and crossfunctional departments to ensure smooth data flows and integrations across Planful Looker and other systems used within the organization.
- Develop clear documentation for new processes dashboards and system configurations. Create user manuals and reports that ensure the team can easily understand and use new systems.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 10 years in FP&A or related finance roles with a strong focus on finance systems implementations
- Handson experience with Planful (or similar FP&A software like Adaptive Insights Host Analytics)
- Experience in postmerger integration (M&A) particularly in aligning finance systems reporting and cost structures
- Proven experience in Looker dashboard creation and financial reporting and data visualization
- Strong skills in BI tools like Power BI Tableau or similar platforms
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise
- Experience with payroll systems and monthend closing processes
- Knowledge of SQL and basic programming concepts
- Familiarity with ERP systems and data integration techniques
