Program Development Officer Strategic Projects Asset Lifecycle Management

Salary: UoM 7 $106432 $115211 p.a. plus 17 super

As the Program Development Officer for Strategic Projects in Asset Lifecycle Management youll play a crucial role in advancing the University of Melbournes research infrastructure. Youll have the opportunity to coordinate and develop highimpact projects that align with the Universitys 2030 vision. Your expertise in project management data analysis and stakeholder engagement will directly contribute to shaping the future of research capabilities across the institution.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating Strategic Projects: Provide highquality project administration and coordination for Research Infrastructure initiatives aligning with key University strategies.
  • Developing Asset Management Frameworks: Support the creation and refinement of strategic asset management programs including capital investment and maintenance plans.
  • Engaging with Stakeholders: Build relationships and communicate effectively with various research platforms and groups across departments and faculties.
  • Analysing and Report: Conduct data analysis prepare highquality documentation and draft policy papers briefings and presentations to inform decisionmaking.

You may be a great fit if:
You are a proactive and detailoriented professional with a technical background strong project management skills and the ability to analyse complex data and communicate findings effectively to diverse stakeholders in a university research environment.

You may also:

  • Hold a tertiary degree in a technical discipline such as Business Science Engineering or related field.
  • Have experience in research administration or working within a university research platform.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have knowledge of research infrastructure capabilities and development initiatives.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team in a complex organisational setting.
