Company:
The Boeing CompanyTheBoeing Order Management and Procurement team is seeking a Procurement Agent (Associate or Experienced) . This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services BGS Supply Chain. This position will support our Order Management team. The Order Management team creates and develops request for proposals based on a set of requirements solicits the supply base for compliant proposals negotiates acquisition costs and ensures on time delivery of aerospace hardware. This team is also responsible for order placement adjustments and cancellations as required to support the business.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate or Experienced Procurement Agents
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Dallas TX or Seattle WA.
Position Responsibilities:
The candidate must possess strong business acumen communication and problem solving skills.
Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.
Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
Supports the sourcing strategies negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
Spares pricing and leadtime negotiations.
Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customers requirements.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
More than 3 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes.
More than 3 years of experience in Data Analysis.
More than 3 years of experience working in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
Able to travel 10 of the time.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelors Degree or higher preferred.
Experience in contracts and proposals.
Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations.
Experience negotiating price and schedule with customers.
Experience using SAP software.
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2
Typically 3 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc. preferred but not required.
Associate (Level 3
Typically 8 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc. preferred but not required.
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
