New Relic is looking to add a key member to our APJ leadership team. The Director Enterprise Sales India will assume responsibility for growing our regional sales organization in the region. The ideal candidate will be a customerfocused industry leader with a proven track record of leading a technology business across the India market having experience in growing revenue in enterprise segments commercial sales and providing crossfunctional leadership.
You must have the ability to lead and support the pursuit of major sales activities in addition to being a general manager for the India holistic business. You know how to create and manage the synergy among business development operations sales engineering proposal and contracts functions. In addition to leading new logo growth youll be responsible for leading the extended teams to drive the growth of adoption in the existing enterprise and commercial customer base.

What youll do

  • You will passionately lead drive and deliver the New Relic vision in the context of the India market
  • You will define and lead the culture in the India offices embracing the New Relic values
  • You will drive the growth of existing accounts and acquire new customers in both the enterprise and commercial segments.
  • You will lead and manage firstline leadership including organizational quotas and development
  • You will create and drive new and strategic gotomarket plans to meet company growth and market share goals.
  • You will provide strategic executive leadership for the India team including sales forecasting territory assignments sales coaching and commission planning.
  • You will coach sales teams by helping structure sales opportunities and deals; further assist with selling activities as appropriate; Ensure the sales team is working collaboratively with operations sales engineering partners and other internal/external teams.
  • Youll develop annual sales forecasts using a combination of topdown and bottomup input.
  • Youll strive to keep ahead of industry trends competitive activity and client opportunities; Attend trade shows industry events internal meetings and conferences.
  • Youll oversee regional customer satisfaction and renewals.
  • You will lead recruitment and retention activities.
  • You will be an external brand advocate and PR lead for New Relic in India



This role requires

  • 10 years of experience of both first and secondline sales leadership for highperformance sales and GTM team
  • Direct experience in the SaaS Application Performance Monitoring industry is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated GTM leadership experience and track record of success in the India market
  • Experience in both enterprise and commercial business segments is strongly preferred
  • Ability to build and lead a sales organization including quotacarrying and forecasting experience.
  • Exceptional crossorganization collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience devising sales strategy and developing/contributing to enablement programs.
  • Strong executive presence.
  • Previous PR and media experience is strongly preferred
  • Bachelors degree in Business Sales Marketing or some related discipline is required.
  • MBA preferred.

  • Demonstrated Enterprise account sales leadership experience and track record of success
  • Ability to build and lead a sales team including quotacarrying and forecasting experience
  • Excellent crossorganization partnership and communication skills
  • Experience devising sales strategy and supplying to enablement programs
