This role provides an exciting opportunity to work directly with J.P. Morgan Chases technology and business leaders to drive the firms technology strategy.
As a Senior Associate on the Global Technology (GT) Strategy team you will play a crucial role in defining and deconstructing problems for the organization. Our technology organization is a worldclass team employing an innovative disciplined and business focused approach to develop a wide variety of highquality products and solutions. Across 14 technology hubs worldwide our team of 50000 technologists design build and deploy everything from enterprise technology initiatives to big data and mobile solutions as well as innovations in Generative AI electronic payments cybersecurity machine learning and cloud development.
The GT Strategy team is an internal strategy consulting team that works with the GT Executive Team to drive technology strategy and enable innovation across the firm. Our goal is to lead the creation of strategies and plans that define how technology should be utilized to enable an organizations overall business strategy.
Job Responsibilities
- Defining and deconstructing high priority problems for the Global Technology organization
- Structuring and building quantitative and qualitative/conceptual analyses
- Analyzing operational and financial data
- Performing competitor/industry research leveraging both public and nonpublic sources
- Working collaboratively with team members across LOBs and staff areas
- Identifying implications and so whats of data and analysis with the team
- Concisely synthesize and communicate complex topics in digestible narratives for senior management
Required Qualifications Capabilities And Skills
- Diverse problem solving experience such as experience with a top management consulting firm or in other generalist problem solving environments across finance or technology sectors
- An outstanding ability to analyze problems apply quantitative analytical approaches communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written) work well in crossfunctional team
- Comfortable working with all levels of the organization including senior executives
- A demonstrable passion for and understanding of great user experiences and technology
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools (absolutely required)
Preferred Qualifications Capabilities And Skills
- Undergraduate degree in Economics Finance Math Engineering (or related field)
- Experience applying data analysis to solve business problems in fastmoving environment
- Experience with crossfunctional collaboration including influencing stakeholders and working with diverse teams.
