Sound good Were looking for two Operations Team Leaders to join our E&M Service Deliveryteam one in Aberdeen and one in Inverness.
What youll be doing
Youll be at the heart of keeping Scotlands water flowing quite literally. Youll be leading a skilled multifunctional craft team providing Electrical Mechanical and Field Automation support across Scottish Waters operational sites.
Youll own performance people and processes making sure your team delivers topnotch service while running an efficient and effective operation. From managing budgets and tackling operational challenges to developing your team youll be the driving force behind it all.
Safety comes first always. Youll lead the way on health safety and wellbeing initiatives championing improvements that not only protect your team but set the standard for the wider E&M community.
Your work will make a real impact boosting business performance exceeding customer expectations and keeping regulators happy. And you wont be doing it alone. Youll work closely with operational teams building strong relationships and strengthening the E&M service.
What youll bring
First and foremost youre a people person a natural leader who knows how to build support and develop a highperforming team through coaching delegation and support.
Youre great at bringing people together and working with a wide range of stakeholders building strong relationships and keeping everyone aligned. Your communication skills are spot on whether youre engaging with frontline teams or senior stakeholders you can break down complex information in a way that makes sense.
You keep things moving and make smart decisions even in a fastpaced highdemand environment. You can take in information analyse it and make the right call when it matters.
Techsavy Even better. Youll need solid Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity with Ellipse Salesforce and Take 5 would be a plus but if youre a quick learner weve got you covered.
A solid understanding of Electrical and Mechanical systems and how they fit into water and waste water processes would definitely help. Leadership experience Even better! Thatll be invaluable as you step into this role.
And last but not least youll need a full current driving licence for this role.

The notsosmall print
This role will be a Grade 7. If youre new to Scottish Water youll join us on a starting salary of 41000. Performancedriven pay progression would then allow you to move through the range to a maximum of 51970.
Job offers at Scottish Water are conditional. Well be able to confirm your start date once you pass our PreEmployment Screening. This is done for us by a third party. Well ask for your permission before we initiate the checks.
