Position Overview:

Qualifications:
Education:Bachelors or advanced degree in Nutrition Dietetics or a related field from an accredited institution.
Licensure:Registered Dietitian (RD) credential preferred (via Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics);Indiana state dietitian certification
Experience:1 years in clinical or hospital settings (preferred)
Technical Skills:Dietary assessment care plan development and menu planning; Food safety compliance and quality assurance
Soft Skills:Strong communication for patient counseling and staff collaboration; Problemsolving and adaptability in fastpaced environments
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients nutritional needs and develop individualized dietarycare plans.
Monitor food service operations for compliance with safety and nutritional standards.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to align dietary plans with medical goals.
Educate patients and staff on diet modifications food selection and preparation.
Supervise dietary staff and oversee meal preparation/service.
Maintain accurate records of diet histories assessments and progress notes.
Lead nutrition training programs and update educational materials.
Participate in quality assurance initiatives and policy development.
