Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled technical writer to join our company. As a Senior Technical Writer you will be responsible for creating and maintaining highquality technical documentation for our digital health enablement and interoperability platform. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work closely with R&D teams to transform complex technical information into appropriate content for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain product documentation such as product manuals contextsensitive help and release notes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure documentation is accurate and uptodate.
- Review and improve existing documentation to enhance clarity consistency usability and effectiveness.
- Develop and document documentation processes standards style guides and best practices.
- Assist with improving documentation infrastructure.
- Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines prioritizing tasks and coordinating with crossfunctional teams.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering Science or related field; or equivalent industry experience.
- 35 years of experience as a technical writer with at least 2 years in the IT sector.
- Proven ability to write clear concise and wellstructured technical documentation for a technical audience.
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Experience using an authoring tool.
- Basic understanding of software development and technical concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an Agilelike environment.
- Experience using Component Content Management Systems (e.g. Paligo MadCap Authorit).
- Knowledge of programming concepts.
- Knowledge of markup and style sheet languages (e.g. HTML CSS and XML).
- Familiarity with API tools such as Swagger or Postman.
- Familiarity with developer platforms (e.g. GitHub).
- Experience using the Atlassian suite of products (particularly Confluence and Jira).
