Job Description
Position Summary:The Director of Jackson Elementary is the instructional and operational leader of the Catholic K6 division responsible for nurturing a faithinformed academically excellent and valuesdriven school experience. The Director works closely with faculty students families and leadership colleagues to ensure a joyful inclusive and missionaligned learning environment rooted in Catholic tradition and childcentered practices. The Director oversees teaching and learning student life parent partnership and daytoday building Responsibilities:Instructional LeadershipLead the academic program for K6 ensuring alignment with school mission Catholic identity and developmental teachers through regular classroom observations feedback and professional with faculty to review and refine curriculum and assessment best practices in inclusive studentcentered learning and classroom & Character FormationSupport integration of Catholic teachings virtues and values into the life of the with faculty and the Head of School to nurture a spiritually enriching environment for all students including prayer liturgy service and socialemotional as a role model of faithinformed leadership and respect for all faith backgrounds in the & Staff SupervisionOversee hiring onboarding evaluation and ongoing support of K6 faculty and regular division meetings team planning and collaborative a culture of accountability joy and excellence among Support & Community BuildingBuild strong relationships with students and families; maintain a visible and welcoming presence in classrooms hallways and with the school counselor and learning support staff to address student with the Director of Auxiliary Programs to support integration of afterschool sports and enrichment within the EngagementServe as the primary liaison for Jackson Elementary families regarding academics behavior and school proactively and consistently with parents; handle concerns with professionalism and and lead parent education sessions coffee chats and family engagement & LogisticsManage daily operations of the Jackson Elementary building including schedules events arrival/dismissal and with the Business/Operations Manager to ensure a safe wellmaintained and wellresourced learning in admissions events and assist in applicant assessments and student LeadershipServe as a member of the schools leadership team contributing to strategic planning and schoolwide Jackson Elementary in schoolwide decisionmaking and crosscampus efforts to foster unity and and model the schools Catholic mission values and professional standards in all interactions.
