Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
Design and execute national sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
Drive market penetration of key brands across all regions in Nigeria.
Collaborate with marketing and product management for promotions and launches.
2. Team Management
Lead and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Medical Representatives (MRs) across zones (West East North South).
Recruit train and motivate sales personnel to achieve KPIs.
Implement performance appraisal systems and incentive programs.
3. Territory & Market Development
Expand coverage in underserved areas including semi-urban and rural markets.
Develop strategies for institutional business (teaching hospitals government tenders).
Build partnerships with distributors pharmacies and healthcare chains.
4. Compliance & Operations
Ensure compliance with NAFDAC regulations and local pharmaceutical marketing codes.
Monitor inventory sales returns and product availability through effective distributor coordination.
Maintain ethical practices in doctor engagement and product promotion.
5. Key Account & Stakeholder Management
Develop strong relationships with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) hospitals procurement officers and pharmacy owners.
Represent the company in pharma trade shows regulatory forums and medical conferences.
6. Reporting & Analytics
Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly sales reports to management with action plans.
Analyze performance data to optimize sales efforts and make business recommendations.
