Job Description

Newport School District is seeking enthusiastic and creative Enrichment Leadersfor our Summer Learning Program. Enrichment Leaders will plan and facilitate fun engaging and educational activities for students in areas such as the arts STEM movement wellness teambuilding or other handson learning experiences. This is a great opportunity for educators teaching assistants or community leaders who enjoy working with youth in a highenergy positive Responsibilities:Plan and lead engaging enrichment activities for groups of students in grades 4 and 5Create a welcoming inclusive and safe environment where all students feel supported and activities to meet a range of abilities and with fellow enrichment leaders program staff and classroom materials and setup/cleanup for daily students during transitions and support positive behavior with Coordinatorregarding student needs successes or :Experience working with children or youth in a school camp or community to plan and facilitate engaging handson attitude flexibility and strong communication to manage groups and build relationships with school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in education recreation or related fields preferred.
