$90000 $110000 annual salary plus super plus salary packaging
Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health & Community Services is Canberras only Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. We provide trusted holistic healthcare to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities of the ACT and surrounding areas.
We are seeking a person with experience as a Practice Manager or Assistant Practice Manager (or similar) to lead our clinic administration and support team which includes medical receptionists and community transport officers. This team plays a vital frontfacing role working with our clients and helping to support the excellent care provided by our multidisciplinary clinical team including GPs nurse practitioners nurses allied health and visiting specialists.
This role is based at our recently purposebuilt clinic at Narrabundah a beautiful building with uptodate facilities and free parking. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 830 am 5 pm.
This is a great opportunity to directly contribute to closing the gap on health outcomes for First Nations people.
You must have the following:
experience in practice management (or similar role)
excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
effective at building professional working relationships in a multidisciplinary team
structured and efficient approach to getting work completed
strong interest in supporting good health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
