Job Description

Hendrickson has a great opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Technicianin our production facility in Clarksville TN! This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of production machinery and facility plant equipment. The Maintenance Technician is an instrumental part of the maintenance team and is responsible for preventative and incidental machine maintenance as well as overall building maintenance.

Position Purpose:

Maximize productive time of equipment. Improve the reliability and repeatability of production systems. Provide support to production associates as they assume greater responsibility for the maintenance of their own equipment. Coordinate and assist with the equipment installation and startup.

Essential Functions:

  • Complete periodical and incidental machine maintenance in an accurate and timely manner. Perform preventative maintenance as outlined on preventative maintenance schedules of equipment manufacturers recommendations.
  • Plan and implement corrective action in conjunction with management direction. Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain building equipment and grounds in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Assist in the purchase of maintenance supplies and equipment parts as required or directed.
  • Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance and/or equivalent experience
  • Must have at least 2 to 5 years of maintenance experience
  • Experience troubleshooting 24VDc and 120480Vac control circuits.
  • Experience using multimeters measuring systems (dial indicators calipers) and interpreting electrical pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
  • Must be proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical electronic fluid power mechanical and plumbing systems.
  • Familiar with Siemens and/or Fanuc CNC Controls preferred.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and formal training in pneumatics and electrical troubleshooting required.
  • Machining and welding capabilities required.
