RTCC is a full day Career and Technical Center where students gain technical skills professional skills and academic skills on our is seeking a special educator to serve as our Student Services Coordinator with the primary responsibilities of the position to include:Providing direct services to students Supervision of paraprofessionals providing direct services to studentsRegular communication with parents/guardians and partner school teamCollaboration and consultation with all program and academic instructorsServe as the coordinator and point of contact to Case Managers for students with IEP EST and 504 plans This position requires the following skill set:Technology proficiency (especially knowledge of the Google Apps and remote learning environments)Strong academic proficiency in both math and language artsOrganization and documentation skillsGood communication and collaboration skills with both colleagues and studentsAbility to make work relevant for students connecting learning assignments to their program or areas of interest while building academic skills through direct serviceObtaining Licensure as a Career & Technical Education Special Needs Coordinator with the Vermont Agency of Education if not already licensed will be part of the first year of employment.
