POSITION: 8TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIESTEACHER
Effective202526 School Year
LOCATION: VAN BURENMIDDLE SCHOOL
GENERAL INFORMATION: Seeking applicants with either a 18 or 49 (Social Studies Concentration) or 712 Social Studies Ohio teaching license.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Partial List
- Develops daily and seasonal educational objectives.
- Supervises and manages all classroom activities.
- Participates in schoolwide programs and activities.
- Communicates with parents and guardians of assigned students.
- Maintains records regarding student progress.
- Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students.
QUALIFICATIONS Partial List
- Valid Ohio teaching license.
- Must pass criminal background checks and preemployment drug screening.
- Collaboration and problemsolving skills.
- Educational technology skills including but not limited to the Google Suite and Desmos.
- Special consideration will be given to applicants certified to teach College Credit Plus in the State of Ohio.
SALARY: According to the approved teacher salary schedule.
