Job Description

Job Role: VOIP Admin

Experience: 4 years

MustHave: The candidate should have 3 years of relevant experience as a VOIP Admin

Location: Noida


  • The Senior VoIP Administrators role is to manage and maintain the organizations VoIP network infrastructure working under the guidance of Leads and Managers to ensure the smooth functioning and security of the VoIP network. The individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the organizations VoIP network while gaining valuable experience and knowledge in the field of VoIP networking.
    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Network Analysis and Design:
    Analyze existing VoIP networks to identify areas for improvement.
    Develop architecture plans for voice and data services.
    2. VoIP System Implementation and Configuration:
    Install and configure network hardware including switches gateways and UC communication servers.
    Optimize network installations for future expansion and ensure reliable VoIP service.
    3. Network Security and Optimization:
    Analyze and upgrade network security systems and protocols to ensure the integrity of the VoIP infrastructure.
    Optimize network performance and efficiency to meet the organizations evolving needs.
    4. Project Management and Collaboration:
    Work with IT managers to determine the companys networking and VoIP requirements.
    Coordinate with the L1 and L3 teams to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of the VoIP system.
    5. Training and Knowledge Sharing:
    Train staff on network and VoIP system protocols to ensure effective usage and troubleshooting.
    Contribute to the teams continuous improvement efforts by sharing knowledge and best practices.


    Required Skills
    Technical Indepth knowledge of Cisco UC servers (Call Manager Cisco Unity Connection UCCX IM&P and expressway servers) IP protocols (SIP and H323 and network hardware/software components.
    Expertise in designing and implementing Cisco UC infrastructure and other VoIP technologies.
    Strong technical knowledge on ISDN PSTN analog lines fax etc
    Knowledge of Polycom and videoconference technologies.
    Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex VoIP network issues.
    Proficiency in project management and network optimization techniques.
    NonTechnical Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with IT managers and crossfunctional teams.
    Ability to provide training and knowledge sharing to endusers and support staff.

    Education and Certifications:
    A degree or diploma in computer science information technology or a related field.
    CCNP or equivalent VoIP certification
