Kendrick Recruitment is on the lookout for a dynamic Lodge Manager to join an exclusive luxury private game lodge located in the stunning Eastern Cape. If youre a gogetter with a strong track record in lodge management and a flair for guest services we want to hear from YOU!
Your Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all daily operations accommodations dining recreational activities and guest services
Lead train and manage a dedicated team of lodge staff
Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction and resolve any concerns
Handle financials from budgeting to revenue generation
Foster wildlife conservation efforts and promote sustainable practices
Collaborate with wildlife experts and hunting managers to ensure ethical hunting practices
Manage relationships with suppliers contractors and local communities
Implement and enforce health & safety standards
Work with marketing teams to promote the lodge and attract guests
Report on lodge performance guest feedback and conservation initiatives
Who Are We Looking For
A Bachelor s degree in hospitality management business admin or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience in lodge management ideally in a hunting game lodge or similar
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
A passion for wildlife conservation and sustainable tourism
Excellent organizational problemsolving and communication skills
Knowledge of wildlife management and hunting regulations
Experience with reservation management systems
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and sometimes highpressure environment
First Aid and/or wilderness safety certifications (a plus)
Proficiency in English (additional foreign languages are a bonus)
