Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager 4 to support the vCHAMPS modernization initiative. This role focuses on coordinating the transition of EPMO teams aligning project activities and driving the successful delivery of secure scalable and compliant technology solutions. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in streamlining project execution through Agile/Scrum/SAFe practices stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Transition Coordination
Facilitate a smooth transition between outgoing and incoming EPMO teams
Document critical project knowledge processes and outstanding tasks
2. Project Planning and Tracking
Maintain and refine detailed project schedules and deliverables
Monitor progress flag risks and proactively manage potential delays
3. Team Alignment and Communication
Act as the central coordination point for cross-functional project teams
Clearly define and communicate roles responsibilities and expectations post-reorganization
4. Stakeholder Management
Deliver timely status updates and reports to project sponsors
Proactively manage stakeholder concerns questions and feedback
5. Risk and Issue Management
Identify assess and maintain a risk and issue register
Implement mitigation plans to reduce project disruption
6. Process Improvement and Documentation
Refine processes to align with updated EPMO governance structures
Ensure all project documentation is accurate and current
7. Quality Assurance
Oversee deliverable reviews to confirm quality and compliance
Coordinate resolution of any quality issues with technical teams
8. Decision Support
Gather and synthesize key project metrics and reports for leadership
Prepare materials for governance meetings reviews and escalation paths
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Strong technical project and delivery management experience Required
Proven experience working in Agile Scrum and/or SAFe environments Required
Solid background in process management Required

Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in test data preparation and execution Strong expertise in Teradata and SQL queries Test result validation and data quality assurance experience Defect tracking and resolution across multi-vendor environments Experience with test metrics reporting and stakeholder communication High-level communication and collaboration skills Preferred Skills Experience with claims processing systems Testing experience on Mainframe Systems Familiarity with DB2 and legacy mainframe platforms
