Position Details:

  • 36 hours/week;benefitted
  • 12hour shift 7p 7:30a

Clinical Techniciansat The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient and familycentered care as contributing members of the healthcare team. Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.

Labor & Delivery/Perinatal Inpatient Unit Zayed 8includes six triage rooms ten Labor/Delivery/Recovery rooms 3 operating rooms three PostAnesthesia Care Beds (PACU) and over thirty inpatient beds for gynecologic services. You would care for pregnant undelivered women with highrisk maternal or fetal care requirements and low and highrisk delivered women (up to six weeks postpartum). The unit is one of only two Level IV Regional Perinatal Referral Centers for highrisk obstetrics in the State of Maryland and features a Fetal Therapy Program treating fetal conditions via intrauterine interventions throughout pregnancy.

  • One year of clinical experience e.g. home care outpatient acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.
  • Licensure/Certifications:

    Salary Range: Minimum$17.37per hour Maximum$26.16per will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

    In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
