The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer Fullstack youll bring endtoend engineering expertise with a strong emphasis on scalable backend development and distributed systems while also contributing to frontend enhancements and UI fixes. Youll help develop intelligent MLdriven security features and ensure our cloudnative applications are secure performant and resilient at scale.
Working from India youll collaborate with global engineering teams to build enterprisegrade solutions used by some of the worlds largest organizations.
What Youll Do
- Design and build robust backend components for largescale distributed cybersecurity platforms using Java Scala Python and .
- Tackle frontend development for smaller features and bug fixes using JavaScript and JQuery.
- Troubleshoot production issues across the full stackfrom the database to the UIand partner with customers and stakeholders to resolve them efficiently.
- Partner closely with customers to identify and resolve infrastructure pain points while elevating data clarity and the value of delivered security insights.
- Build and maintain machine learningdriven applications that leverage big data technologies like Spark Hadoop Hive and Impala for realtime cybersecurity insights.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab with automation for building testing and deploying secure highquality software.
- Write automated tests drive code coverage and conduct performance testing to ensure application reliability.
- Work on security compliance initiatives including FIPS 1402/3 and STIG requirements.
- Collaborate across SRE infrastructure data and security teams to improve performance scalability and observability.
- Monitor and analyze production systems using Splunk SPL and other observability tools.
What You Bring
- 8 years of software development experience with deep backend expertise and full stack exposure.
- Strong programming skills in Java Scala Python and scripting languages like Shell.
- Handson experience with Linux environments including Red Hat Ubuntu and Oracle Enterprise Linux.
- Proven experience with distributed systems Kafka Zookeeper and Protobuf.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficient with GitLab CI/CD infrastructure automation and test frameworks.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies including JavaScript and JQuery.
- Understanding of security frameworks such as FIPS and STIG.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; able to explain complex issues to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Agile development experience and ability to work effectively across global crossfunctional teams.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Splunk SPL and other observability tools.
- Experience developing MLbased applications in the cybersecurity space.
- Exposure to performance tuning incident response and monitoring best practices in production environments.
