Job Title: Senior Software Developer ETL
Client: Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) Ontario Public Service
Location: Hybrid
Work Hours: 7.25 hours/day Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Scope of Work
The OPGT requires a Senior Software Developer ETL to support data validation and quality assurance in the migration of legacy applications to the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) platform. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity transformation accuracy and seamless integration in preparation for the system go-live.
Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy data structures quality and relationships.
- Review and understand existing data migration code and mappings.
- Develop and execute data test plans test cases and reconciliation reports.
- Monitor and validate data migration completeness and accuracy.
- Modify ETL scripts and pipelines to resolve data quality and mapping issues.
- Create KPIs to measure migration progress and quality.
- Provide post-migration support and issue resolution.
- Document all testing activities changes and results.
- Participate in knowledge transfer activities and ongoing team collaboration.
- Comply with government security privacy architecture and conflict of interest guidelines.
Mandatory Requirements
- 5 years of hands-on ETL development experience including data extraction transformation and loading.
- Proficiency in SQL with experience in Azure SQL Databases and Dataverse.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Azure Certifications (e.g. Azure Fundamentals Azure Data Engineer Associate Azure Database Administrator Associate).
- Experience with Azure Synapse Data Factory Power Platform and related tools.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps version control and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of data governance quality assurance and privacy standards in cloud environments.
- Experience in Dynamics 365 data models including entities relationships and Power Platform integration.
