Rizing services customers in many assetintensive industries including Utilities Oil & Gas Chemicals Transportation Mining Government Manufacturing and Construction.

Description

Utilizes advanced solution architectural expertise to support software implementation projects. Supports overall project planning by providing functional strategic guidance. Contributes to business development through leading complex discussions with clients and potential clients to promote Rizings latest offerings.

Solution Architect works with clients and plays a lead role in the support and delivery of SAP services that are designed to manage the entire asset lifecycle maximise its use and productivity and ensure adherence to enterprise and regulatory procedures. This includes but is not limited to expertise across best practices and use of the SAP solution suite for the asset life cycle. The SAP solution suite will evolve over time and is currently comprised of Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) Plant Maintenance (PM) Materials Management (MM) Project Systems (PS) Supply Chain Management (SCM) Finance (FI) and Real Estate (RE) along with related areas within the Organizational Risk Management (ORM) modules (e.g. Management of Change Work Clearance Management Incident Management Risk Management and Worker Safety) as well as niche areas such as Mobility Analytics Scheduling Linear Asset Management (LAM) Compatible Units (CU) GIS integration. All solution architecture should be undertaken within the IS55000 framework.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and enforce architectural guidelines to align with clients architectural principles and project objectives ensuring cohesive direction.
  • Ensure solution designs not only meet business objectives but also deliver tangible value to client while maintaining highquality standards.
  • Provide strategic guidance on clean core principles advising against overly complex designs to uphold architectural integrity and longterm sustainability.
  • Ensure the architecture team validates draft designs against new S/4HANA capabilities and technology advancements for futureproof solutions.
  • Take direct ownership of key strategic design decisions that span multiple work streams ensuring design is consistently understood and that the overall solution will integrate successfully.
  • Ensure minimum disruption to existing platforms and processes by overseeing seamless functional and technical integration efforts.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with Rizing and clients solution and enterprise architects ensuring alignment and coordinated efforts.
  • Lead architecture forums to facilitate discussions on updates challenges progress and risks fostering collaboration and informed decisionmaking among project architects and leads.
  • Conduct QA reviews and change request evaluations to uphold design quality and ensure compliance with established guidelines maintaining a focus on excellence.
  • Promptly communicate risks and issues providing clear direction for resolution to maintain project alignment and success ensuring proactive management of potential obstacles

Client Delivery General

  • Manage your own consulting workload.

Client Management

    Solution Architecture

    • Provide onsite subjectmatter expertise and team leadership to Rizing clients and consultants for overall SAP functional system and business process design for SAP implementations.
    • Responsible for successful design and implementation of SAP Solutions at a clients site.
    • Provide functional knowledge guidance presentations and instruction on SAP products to clients and consultants.
    • Lead clients in project scoping along with detailed business process requirements definition and project blueprint activities.
    • Take direct ownership of key strategic design decisions that span multiple work streams ensuring design is consistently understood and that the overall solution will integrate successfully
    • Work with clients and consultants to assess current business and systems processes and define plans for improvement.
    • Lead functional project team during blueprint phase helping client evaluate different process and standard SAP system configuration options to select the best choice for their enterprise.
    • Lead the functional team in developing and documenting design including process flows/narratives and functional specifications for technical objects.
    • Understand and communicate standard SAP solutions to clients when necessary identify where they can extend standard solutions to meet specific client requirements.
    • Partner with the Technical Team in the overall application design and architecture.
    • Understand Rizing Product capability and where these tools can be used as accelerators and when they should be sold as products / services.
    • Adhere to SAP standards/best practices and Rizing project methodology within the context of the clients preferred methodology.

      • Provide leadership and guidance to functional teams during Realisation and through Golive ensuring overall solution remains intact as issues are resolved during testing and configuration.
      • Work with the Rizing leadership team to support sales and business development activities as required.
      • Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP best practices and advise clients on industry best practices.
      • Support presales activity by developing proposals statements of work client solution demonstrations and conducting service/improvement and value realisation reviews.

      Market Intelligence

      • Up to date with the view on current and future trends.
      • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events publications and announcements tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
      • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations.
      • Attends and contributes at key industry / technology events to further develop industry networks and communicate Rizings value proposition.

      Overall Design and Program Content

      • Expert in system design and architecture relating to SAP with reference to service delivery within assetintensive industries.
      • Enhances Rizings reputation by defining costeffective client solutions ensuring that the SAP system can be implemented to meet complex and specialised business requirements.
      • Assist in developing services and products through best practice technology approaches.
      • Able to make recommendations and suggestions based on market knowledge and indepth understanding of industry and technology trends.
      • Liaise closely with key business stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of design are understood and that stakeholders expectations are met and exceeded.
      • Understanding of delivery methods and tools with the flexibility to be able to adapt project delivery process to fit with a clients preferred methods without compromising quality objectives.

              Required Qualifications and Experience

              • Bachelors degree in information systems Engineering Business or other related field; relevant experience can be substituted for degree.
              • 5 to 10 years of technical leadership experience leading technology or deployment projects.
              • Possess 10 plus years industry experience.
              • 10 years or more SAP implementation experience including at least five full lifecycle SAP Projects with an indepth understanding of SAP Integration and various methodologies required.
              • Experience working on SAP implementations and familiarity with capital intensive industry business processes.
              • Previous experience working in a project lead role within the professional services industry.
              • Extensive SAP configuration experience.
              • SAP accredited certifications

              Required Knowledge

              • S/4HANA knowledge in EAM procure to pay finance to manage and project delivery
              • Good knowledge in BTP capabilities specially SAP Build Process Automation CAP and RAP technologies
