Job Description


At The Wilf Ward Family Trust we pride ourselves on creating a positive supportive and efficient workplace where our team members thrive. Were currently looking for a detailoriented and dependable Payroll Officer to join our PeopleTeam and ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time.

Role Overview:
As a Payroll Officer youll be responsible for the endtoend processing of payroll ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation company policies and award conditions. Youll play a key role in supporting both our finance and HR functions with accurate and timely payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly/fortnightly/monthly payroll for circa 1100employees

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations superannuation and employment laws

  • Maintain and update payroll systems and employee records

  • Prepare payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • Manage leave entitlements deductions and terminations

  • Respond to payrollrelated queries from employees in a timely and professional manner

  • Liaise with finance and HR to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar payroll position

  • Solid knowledge of payroll legislation tax and other employment pay

  • High attention to detail and excellent numerical skills

  • Strong communication and problemsolving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
