At The Wilf Ward Family Trust we pride ourselves on creating a positive supportive and efficient workplace where our team members thrive. Were currently looking for a detailoriented and dependable Payroll Officer to join our PeopleTeam and ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time.
Role Overview:
As a Payroll Officer youll be responsible for the endtoend processing of payroll ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation company policies and award conditions. Youll play a key role in supporting both our finance and HR functions with accurate and timely payroll services.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly/fortnightly/monthly payroll for circa 1100employees
Ensure compliance with tax regulations superannuation and employment laws
Maintain and update payroll systems and employee records
Prepare payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders
Manage leave entitlements deductions and terminations
Respond to payrollrelated queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
Liaise with finance and HR to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar payroll position
Solid knowledge of payroll legislation tax and other employment pay
High attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
Strong communication and problemsolving abilities
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
