Student Loans Company is a nonprofit making Governmentowned organisation to provide loans and grants to students in universities and colleges in the UK. Since 1989 we have enabled our customers to invest in their futures by delivering secure accurate and efficient assessment payment and repayment services.
We are looking for motivated and dynamic individuals with a passion for delivering excellent customer service to join our busy DSA team in Darlington.
Our DSA Officers are responsible for assessing students eligibility and entitlement to DSAs in accordance with the relevant regulations and Equality Act whilst ensuring appropriate support is agreed for DSA customers in line with Government guidelines. In addition DSA Officers will liaise with a number of stakeholders including external Needs Assessors Disability Advisors and thirdparty providers to ensure we provide the right support to our customers.
This a busy and varied role includes delivering a highlevel of customer service and provide advice to customers with varying disabilities through a variety of communication channels including inbound/outbound calls emails webchat and letter.
SLC offer a blended working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
