The Opportunity
As a Senior Accountant in our Property Finance team youll take ownership of the financial performance of a portfolio of retail assets on a 12 month FTC. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager youll work closely with Centre Managers Asset Managers and fellow finance professionals to deliver accurate actuals forecasts and budgets that drive smarter business decisions. Youll be part of a customer-focused high-performing team that thrives on collaboration innovation and precision. With the support of modern technology and streamlined processes youll provide timely financial insights that help shape strategy and enhance asset performance.
You will make an impact by:
Managing financial reportingacross a portfolio of retail assets including month-end year-end BAS GST reconciliations and tax forecasting.
Leading budgeting and forecastingprocesses partnering with Centre and Portfolio Managers to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment.
Delivering insightful management reportingwith variance analysis and commentary for internal and external stakeholders.
Driving operational excellenceby improving processes automating reporting and ensuring timely delivery of property finance activities.
Building strong relationshipsacross the business translating financial data into actionable insights that support decision-making and business performance.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting Finance or a related discipline with CA/CPA certification.
Minimum of 3 years experience in financial or management accounting ideally within the retail property sector.
Strong technical accounting knowledge advanced Excel skills and familiarity with reporting tools such as Yardi and TM1.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities with excellent analytical strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
High attention to detail effective communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement
