Weekend Car Washer Hoehn Honda

Job Description:

Are you interested in the automotive industry Looking to get your foot in the door Do you work well in a fast paced customer service oriented arena Do you have a love for cars Hoehn Honda is a wellestablished automotive dealership with a full time opportunity for the right candidate. A position is readily available in the Lot Department pay is starting at $19.00 per hour. Come join our team and enjoy the newly remodeled facility!

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Essential Duties include the following.
  • Keeps used vehicle lot neat and orderly moving cars as directed by the used vehicle manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
  • Cleans interior and exterior of used vehicles including the trunk glove compartment tires windows etc. as needed.
  • Assist with vehicle progression through the reconditioning process
  • Picks up vehicles from and delivers vehicles to customers as directed by management.
  • Starts vehicles weekly and reports any problems or concerns.
  • Add fuel to vehicles as needed.
  • Weekly inspection to check that required forms/stickers (buyers guide prop 65 etc. have been completed and are properly displayed.
  • Completes all required training and maintains 100 completion
  • Comply with Smoking Policy with no residual smoke odor.
  • Maintains professional appearance.

MARGINAL DUTIES
Other duties may be assigned.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday only.

Qualifications and Experience:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • No prior experience or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondences.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
  • Ability to observe deficiencies with appearance of facility and inventory and make recommendation to supervisor.

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid drivers license
  • Maintain driving record acceptable to dealerships insurance company.

    Why Hoehn Motors

    The Hoehn family has been in the automobile business since the 1920s. In 1938 T.W. Hoehn was awarded a Chevrolet franchise in Memphis Tennessee. He passed that dealership to his son T.W. Hoehn Jr. when he retired in 1950. T.W. Hoehn Jr. expanded their Hoehn Chevrolet footprint across the country adding franchises in St. Louis Kansas City and Beverly Hills. In 1970 he sold the dealerships and retired to La Jolla. In 1975 he saw an opportunity to buy Brooking OldsmobileHondaMercedes in Car Country Carlsbad one of the first automalls in the country. His timing was serendipitous as 1975 saw the end of a recession and the rapid economic and population growth of North County as well as the surge in popularity of Honda and MercedesBenz in the U. S. marketplace. Mr. Hoehn was quickly joined by his sons Bill and Bob who continue to oversee the daytoday operations of the business alongside their children Ted Adrienne Jo Hannah and Susanah. Today the Hoehn Family of Dealerships proudly represents 8 brands in Carlsbad (Acura Audi Honda Jaguar Land Rover Porsche MercedesBenz and Sprinter) and a second Audi dealership in Temecula.
