The Opportunity
Join Liebherr Australia as an apprentice Boilermaker Welder so you can earn while you learn!
You will undertake a Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) gaining handson experience and mentoring from our highly skilled professionals. This 4year apprenticeship will equip you with the skills needed to become a qualified Boilermaker Welder.
Our Apprenticeship Program offers comprehensive training and ongoing support empowering you to reveal and discover your full potential.

What you will learn as an Apprentice Boilermaker Welder
- The opportunity to begin your career with an industry leading global company in mining equipment manufacturing
- Acquire skills and expertise needed for a successful career as a Boilermaker Welder
- You will have the chance to work on various projects including the manufacture of new mining excavator bucket repair mining excavator buckets and excavator attachments
- Learn how to interpret technical drawings and operate to internationally recognized standards
- You will also gain knowledge and handson experience in different welding process include flux core solid wire sub merged arc and use carbon arc gouging
- Opportunity to work on a large range of carbon steel plate thickness from 10mm 140mm
- Learn how to safely operate plant and mobile equipment
About you
- Passion for learning new things enthusiasm sense of pride high attention to detail
- Positive attitude problem solver and a high commitment to safety
- Drivers License and access to transport to and from the facility
- Completed year 11 before January 2025
- Full working rights in Australia
- Certificate II or preapprenticeship course in a relevant field (highly desirable)
