Job Summary

Liebherr-Australia is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to lead strategic relationships with major mining clients across Western Australia. This role is central to strengthening partnerships with major mining operations and delivering tailored equipment and service solutions that support the long-term productivity of our clients.

About the role:

You will build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 mining clients acting as a key liaison to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. By promoting and selling Liebherrs mining products and aftermarket services you will play a critical role in driving revenue and growth.


Youll identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and across the broader mining sector while preparing and managing high-quality tenders technical proposals and contract negotiations. You will oversee the full commercial performance of your assigned key accounts including the resolution of warranty issues and other commercial matters.


Collaborating with internal teams across Sales Technical Support and Supply Chain youll ensure delivery of integrated solutions. Additionally youll monitor market trends provide valuable customer insights and contribute to strategic business development all while upholding Liebherrs standards for safety compliance and quality in every interaction.

About you:

You are the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for high-value accounts working at the intersection of commercial strategy technical excellence and customer success backed by a global leader in mining technology and lifecycle support.

Exposure & Experience

  • Proven experience in mining equipment sales product management or a similar role.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL BI tools).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • A strategic mindset and the ability to think critically to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • A deep understanding of the mining industry its trends and regulatory landscape.
