About the Indiana Alcohol & Tobacco Commission:
The general purposes of the Alcohol & Tobacco Commissions work as defined by law are:

To protect the economic welfare health peace and morals of the people of this state
To regulate and limit the manufacture sale possession and use of alcohol and alcoholic beverages
To provide for the raising of revenue

Salary Statement:

The salary for this position traditionally starts at$34216.00but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  • Compile information relative to the assigned program area.
  • Coordinate correspondence for information requests.
  • Organize and maintain current and historical files related to the program.
  • Organize program reports applications and maintain consultative services.
  • Maintain and organize program assets.
  • Prepare all program related training materials.

What Youll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • General knowledge of the program area.
  • Basic knowledge of the rules and regulations pertaining to the assigned program area and its affects upon other agency operations.
  • Ability to gather and compile program materials.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a group decisionmaking process.
  • Tact in dealing with other agency personnel and the public.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
