Job Description
Creating Passion: Your Responsibilities
- Design and optimization of components assemblies and systems whilst taking account of technical scheduling and financial aspects (design to cost from the customer requirements)
- Accountable for creating 3D Surface Models 2D Drawings components assemblies using CAD system Creo Parametric 10.
- Expertise in assigning GD&T for complex casting welding piping sheet metal and machining components according to the understanding of their manufacturing processes.
- Independently integrate subsystems on Engine platforms and perform tolerance stackup calculations for checking clearances gaps & worst cases in assemblies.
- Capable of performing basic component calculations prior to FEM / Analysis.
- Fluency in CAD metadata documentation using Windchill (PLM) for BOM creation lifecycle promotion and to manage other process workflows.
- Generating design concepts to visualize technical solutions and presenting it to experts for their clarification.
- Collaborate with component suppliers spread across the world consult with subsystem owners (SSO) quality purchase and other concerned departments for technical clarifications in development process.
- Hands on experience working with DFMEA PFMEA 8D and RCA methodologies.
- Work according to company Standards design codes software tools adhering to all defined boundaries related to ways of working.
Contributing Your Strengths: Your Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical/Automotive/Production/Industrial).
- 810 years experience in design of components system subsystem in Combustion Engine domain.
- Exposure to creation of Digital Mockup their maintenance and optimization.
- Experience and know how on working with Windchill (PLM) for handling BOM and lifecycle processes and workflows in the ERP system.
- Proficient in using MS Office Tools Power BI SharePoint.
- Autonomous committed Flexible organised work ethics and integrity.
- Ability to work and communicate with multicultural global team.
- Basic technical knowledge of combustion engine (diesel at least Gasoline and/or Hydrogen is a plus)
- Basic understanding about reports of simulation results like 1D CFD FEA NVH.
