Job Description
Job Role : Civil Design Engineer (Oil & Gas Project)
Interview Location: Chennai
Work Location: Saudi
Experience: 10 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design of substation components (e.g. control buildings transformer foundations cable trenches gantry towers).
- Prepare and review design documents structural drawings and BOQs.
- Coordinate with internal teams site engineers clients and consultants for approvals and clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications codes and standards (IS IEC etc..
- Optimize quantities while meeting project and client requirements.
- Support prebid engineering prepare DBRs and DCIs and participate in technical discussions.
Technical Expertise:
- Bachelors in Civil Engineering / in Structural Geotech or Environmental Engineering
- Experience in substation/switchyard civil design for sectors like power oil & gas cement etc.
- Knowledge of RCC steel structures geotechnical aspects drainage and road works.
- Familiar with GIS/AIS substations topography soil reports and environmental factors.
- Understanding of vendor drawings and fabrication/detailed drawings.
Software Proficiency:
- STAAD ETABS (Analysis & Design)
- AutoCAD REVIT (Drafting Preferred)
- TEKLA (Structural Detailing Preferred)
- MS Office Suite
