The role:

Join Fugros dynamic team as a Senior QHSSE Hub Advisor. We are on the lookout for an experienced professional to be the goto expert for all QHSSErelated matters at the Falmouth and Plymouth sites. In this pivotal role you will work closely with site leadership teams to manage compliance risks regulatory requirements and hazard controls while supporting the Country QHSSE Manager. Youll enhance our QHSSE management systems promote proactive risk management and lead audits inspections and training sessions.

You will be instrumental in fostering an environment where safety concerns are raised and resolved constructively and collaboratively. Demonstrating strong safety leadership you will set an example and work with leadership to develop personal ownership of safety across the organisation.

Your key tasks will include interpreting country specific QHSSE regulations tracking regulatory changes and conducting gap analyses to ensure compliance. You will revise internal processes and procedures collaborate with external audits and provide QHSSE expertise to ensure all locations and contractor engagements meet the highest standards. Additionally you will enhance our integrated management system support implementation of standards and procedures lead incident investigations and conduct tailored training.

Successful candidates will perform site inspections document findings recommend corrective actions and ensure timely resolutions. You will also conduct risk assessments develop safe operating procedures maintain emergency response plans and undertake occupational monitoring. As the primary liaison with regulatory agencies you will engage with stakeholders to align with QHSSE standards and stay informed of emerging trends and best practices. Who were looking for:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent. IEMA (Associate) or equivalent Environmental Qualification would be an advantage.
  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science or related field.
  • Experience in a QHSSE Compliance preferably with industrial technical or similar environments.
  • A good understanding of ISO 9001 ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
  • Experienced Auditor with relevant qualifications
  • Good command of the English language both written and spoken
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint Visio.
