Job Description

Day shift DOE
KEY JOB ELEMENTS:
- Plays key role in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and incorporating efficient methods of maintaining all equipment.
- Schedules and prioritizes preventative maintenance and repair activities of the manufacturing/production facilities.
- Analyzes machinery and equipment breakdowns and develops preventive measures.
- Provides technical advice guidance and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
- Manages maintenance supply inventories maintaining accuracy and evaluating supply vendors.
- Maintains electrical lighting heating and air conditioning with assigned personnel or outside contractors as appropriate.
- Maintains vehicles and forklifts including all service records utilizing assigned personnel or outside contractors as required.
- Maintains current maintenance history on all production and support equipment.
- Coordinates storage and disposal of hazardous waste products.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have good communication skills in English both oral and written.
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing/production maintenance and safety.
- Knowledge of plastics and sheet metal equipment and machinery.
- Knowledge of basic electrical connections nodes and conduits.
- Must have a good working knowledge of OSHA safety programs requirements and inspections.
- Must have ability to read a machine manual electrical diagram and conduct troubleshooting as needed on each equipment.
