Join as US Expansion Planning Engineer for a key role in establishing a memory manufacturing facility in Boise Idaho. Calculate capital impacts of new processes and communicate with senior leaders for a smooth transition to highvolume production.

Situated in Boise you will link different segments of our organization overseeing manufacturing and costsaving processes in departments like supply chain finance engineering procurement production and R&D.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Optimize the capacity of equipment and lead site and toollevel optimization studies for efficiency improvement.
  • Collaborate with partners to understand future tool and process roadmaps and calculate network capacity impacts of process changes.
  • Complete financial analyses before new capital equipment is purchased including metrics optimization process flexibility capacity sharing and equipment repurpose.
  • Handle site tool utilization and capacity planning models to optimize the sites deployed capital.
  • Design track and communicate capital change proposals to manufacturing senior leaders through reporting tools (e.g. Tableau) and formal presentations.
  • Build and implement tools to audit manufacturing capital efficiency and identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Lead and communicate improvement opportunities and implementation plans to all relevant levels and functions in manufacturing.
  • Apply new (e.g. Python SQL R) and traditional (Excel VBA) methods to improve and automate tasks in the planning system/models.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Finance Economics or related fields
  • 2 years experience in capacity planning business analyst or process analyst roles.
  • Experience turning complex and ambiguous problem statements into structured solutions while working in a highly multifunctional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a Businessrelated or quantitative field (Finance Economics or similar subject area).
  • Experience operating independently while maintaining a high degree of organization and control.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data drawing conclusions defining recommended actions and reporting results across diverse technical and nontechnical groups.
  • Experience working in teams establishing and maintaining multifunctional relationships.
  • 13 years of experience in crafting and developing webbased reporting metrics (e.g. Tableau Python).
