Job Description
TITLE: Software Engineer (US Citizenship is REQUIRED)
RATE RANGE: $66/hr - $82/hr W2 **depends on experience and benefits chosen**
CLEARANCE: The ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance is required
LOCATION: ONSITE in Aurora CO 80011 (no relocation package)
DURATION: Contract or Contract to Hire

In this role you will be joining a talented team of software engineers who are designing and developing a reusable software foundation to build satellite ground system software.
What You Will Do
Design develop deploy and maintain user interface software
Work with a team of engineers architects and leaders in an Agile environment
What You Will Learn
Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques
Software lifecycle practices for defense projects
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
Experience with JavaScript and Angular
Experience developing user interface software
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience developing software using Java
Experience with microservices in an AWS environment using Docker and Kubernetes
Software development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology
Experience with tools such as Confluence Eclipse Jira Jenkins Junit Kafka and Spring Boot
Experience with some area of satellite ground system software such as mission management planning and scheduling command and telemetry satellite operations or flight dynamics models
