We have an opportunity for two LGBTQIA Lived Experience Mental Health Peer Workers to join Thorne Harbour Healths Mental Health program. One role to be based at Melton and the other role to be based at Dandenong. These key roles will:
Whats on offer
In addition to your salary of SCHADS Level 4 (prorata) and superannuation Thorne Harbour also pays above award. About you
You will have a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or a similar qualification. You will also bring to the role:
Personal lived experience within the LGBTQIA community demonstrating resilience and a commitment to mental health and wellbeing.
Personal lived experience of engaging with the mental health sector as a consumer.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust establish rapport and maintain compassionate and supportive relationships.
An understanding of and affinity with the communities we serve.
Ability to advocate for the rights and wellbeing of the LGBTIQA community promoting peerled support and empowerment.
