Job Description
Double E Group is an international market leader in the engineering and manufacturing of web handling material handling and converting solutions. Our broad portfolio of products is marketed to the paper tissue film and foil converting industries.
The General Operations support person assists the operations team in performing a variety of manufacturing related tasks including but not limited to fabricating (including grinding manual lathe operations assembling patching glueing and processing materials parts and assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the operations Department with a variety of manufacturing related functions
- Use of the saw to cut raw materials as needed
- Grinding
- Manual lathe operation
- Patching & glueing
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with multiple departments
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and be detail oriented.
- Team player energetic and willingness to help where needed.
Education and Experience
- Previous Machine Shop experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
