Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute quality control plans perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with production engineering and other departments to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Lead the application and maintenance of the QMS system in accordance with GE Vernova and industry standards (e.g. ISO 9001.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and address quality issues ensuring product and process compliance.
- Train and mentor team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Demonstrate a Quality mindset as a personal and business priority to foster a quality culture at all levels of the business.
- Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS recommending improvements as needed.
- Develop and deliver training programs to promote quality awareness and best practices within the organization.
- Analyze quality metrics and data to identify trends and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Lead root cause analysis and problemsolving activities to address customer complaints and nonconformances.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes within manufacturing ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field. OR
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership with a focus on Quality Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 9001 Six Sigma).
- Proven experience in leading quality improvement projects and initiatives.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities with the capability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Certification in quality management (e.g. CQE CQA Six Sigma) is preferred.
- The salary range for this position is $81700.00 $136700.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience their education and the work location. In addition this role has variable compensation incentive of 10 .
