Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading quality assurance initiatives within our manufacturing processes ensuring that our products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of manufacturing quality practices and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute quality control plans perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production engineering and other departments to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Lead the application and maintenance of the QMS system in accordance with GE Vernova and industry standards (e.g. ISO 9001.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and address quality issues ensuring product and process compliance.
  • Train and mentor team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Demonstrate a Quality mindset as a personal and business priority to foster a quality culture at all levels of the business.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS recommending improvements as needed.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote quality awareness and best practices within the organization.
  • Analyze quality metrics and data to identify trends and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Lead root cause analysis and problemsolving activities to address customer complaints and nonconformances.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes within manufacturing ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field. OR
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership with a focus on Quality Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 9001 Six Sigma).
  • Proven experience in leading quality improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities with the capability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g. CQE CQA Six Sigma) is preferred.
  • The salary range for this position is $81700.00 $136700.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience their education and the work location. In addition this role has variable compensation incentive of 10 .
